The nurses’ stations on each floor are designed for efficiency and practicing Norton Brownsboro’s patient-centered care model. All nurses are equipped with Cisco phones. In an effort to keep noise and distractions to a minimum, the hospital does not use an overhead paging system. The hospital’s color-coded dress policy takes the guesswork out of recognizing caregivers. The color of staff apparel helps patients distinguish each caregiver’s role and area of expertise.
